Welcome to My Rosehaven

Hi there! I'm so glad you found me. I can't tell you how excited I am to share our house and a bit of our life with you. Rosehaven has been our home for almost 25 years now. It's our happy place and our sancuary. Over the years we've painted and papered, stripped paper and repainted. Seems like we always have a project going!

When we found our home she was a poor neglected mess. Trash everywhere, a house full of furniture and so much damage to the papered walls and the floors. It took us a solid month of hauling trash, cleaning and painting to be able to finally move in. The following year we were married right out in front of our home. So many happy memories in this house.

Embracing Imperfection

If there is one thing that I've learned in my years at Rosehaven it's to embrace imperfection. Things happen at their own pace here and (much to my carpenter husband's frustration) things are never going to be square or perfect. But they can be beautiful. And peaceful.

If you're searching for magazine-perfect decor or recipes with gourmet ingredients, this might not be the right spot for you. However, if you're tired of the nonstop hustle and life's current challenges, spending some slow, peaceful time at My Rosehaven could be exactly what we all need.
